Team roles

Understanding permissions

cineOS has three team roles: Owner (you — full control and approval authority), Member (collaborators who can propose changes), and Viewer (free read-only access for crew who just need to see call sheets and schedules). Members and viewers are invited by email and do not need a paid subscription.

What each role can do

Permissions are designed to keep your production data accurate while enabling collaboration.

  • Team owner

    Full control over the production. Approve or reject changes, manage team membership, export data.

  • Team member

    View all production data and propose changes. Proposals require owner approval before taking effect.

  • Team viewer

    Free read-only access. Perfect for crew who need to check call sheets and schedules but do not need to edit.
